The New entrance to the Venice Biennale

In the heart of the Giardini della Biennale di Venezia, a new structure marks the entrance to the spaces of the historic institution. Where once stood a greenhouse, a project takes shape that combines functionality, memory, and sustainability, breathing new life into a previously neglected area. A distinctive element of the entire structure is the large  zintek® titanium zinc roof , chosen for its ability to interact with the natural context. 
The entrance and ticket office, designed by H&A Associati in collaboration with the Biennale’s Special Projects Office, is a discreet yet striking work, perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape. The project also included the redevelopment of the green spaces in front, transforming them into a welcoming waiting and meeting area, immersed in greenery.
